How long does a kitchen remodel take?
The construction itself usually takes 2 to 3 weeks, depending on the scope. If a permit is required, the overall timeline also depends on your city and how quickly it reviews documents. On our side, we build the schedule upfront and stick to it.
What’s included in the price?
We prepare a detailed estimate for the agreed scope of construction work before we start. Materials are usually paid separately, because their cost depends heavily on the cabinets, countertops, tile, fixtures, and appliances you choose. This way you pick the level of materials yourself and stay in control of the budget.
Do I need a permit?
It depends on your city and the scope of work. When plumbing, electrical, ventilation, or structural changes are involved, a permit is often required. If it is, we take the process on: we prepare the plans and drawings, put the paperwork together, submit it to the city, and see the project through to approval. Our permit work is included in the estimate. The permit fees set by the city or county are paid by the client at cost.
Do you help with design and materials?
Yes. We help with layout, technical decisions, materials, and finishes, and we’ll tell you where it’s worth spending more and where you can save without losing quality. If you want a full design package before construction, we can recommend designers whose work we know. Once the design is ready, we build the construction plan and estimate, and deliver the project to match it.
